A City Segway tour is the perfect way to see San Francisco veterans. We’re sure everyone will agree that riding a Segway is the best way to see the ‘City by the Bay.'

Highlights of the tour include:

  • Fisherman's Wharf – This colorful waterfront area boasts many working fishing boats, Dungeness crab and the famous San Francisco Sourdough Bread.
  • Views of the Golden Gate Bridge – The symbol of San Francisco.
  • Ghirardelli Square – Chocolate lovers agree that this is a sweet stop on any tour of San Francisco.
  • Views of Alcatraz – The infamous prison that sits in San Francisco Bay was home to some of the most notorious criminals, including Al Capone and the "Birdman of Alcatraz."
  • Coit Tower – Erected atop Telegraph Hill this art deco monument is a tribute to the brave firefighters of San Francisco.
  • Hyde Street Pier – Home of the world’s largest collection of historic ships. America’s only “floating” National Historic Park.
  • Aquatic Park – Home to a myriad of restored floating vessels Including the Balclutha which was featured in the film Mutiny on the Bounty. The Maritime museum features artifacts from life at sea.
  • Cable Car Turnaround – This is the end of the line for the Hyde Street Cable car. Watch as the cable is car is loaded on to a platform and turned by hand for the return trip to Market Street.
  • USS Pampanito Submarine – Restored WWII submarine offers visitors an opportunity to see what it is like to serve 20,000 leagues under the sea.
  • The Embarcadero – This waterfront promenade provides breathtaking views of San Francisco Bay and is full of history.
  • Transamerica Pyramid – This iconic building sits in the heart of the financial district of San Francisco. At the base of the pyramid is a grove of Redwood trees.

Each Ticket issued pursuant to the standard offer is valid for use through January 31, 2009. All orders are subject to credit card approval and billing address verification. Please note: Participant must be at least 12 years old. All riders must have the ability to climb and descend stairs without assistance. The Segway is not appropriate for anyone weighing under 100 pounds (45.5 kg) or over 250 pounds (113.6 kg). Unfortunately, pregnant women are not allowed on City Segway Tours. Any participant suspected of being under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted to ride.
