Thanks to an extraordinary family legacy, the splendid Mansion on Pasadena's famed "Millionaire's Row," once home to Museum benefactors Dr. Adalbert and Eva Fenyes, is today the crown jewel among the Pasadena Museum of History's many treasures. One hour docent-guided tours allow visitors to explore the antique furnishings, oriental carpets, wood paneling and floors, curving staircases and California impressionist paintings in the 1906 Beaux Arts Mansion as well as the Finnish artifacts and sauna in the Finnish Folk Art Museum.
Tours are available Wednesday through Friday at 1:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 1:30 and 3:00 pm. In August & September, Fenyes Mansion tours are only available by 7-day advance reservation at 10:00 am Thursday and Friday or at 1:30 pm Saturday and Sunday. |
