In 1999 the Ramada Plaza Hotel Anaheim Area took on a few additional marks of excellence:

1) Officially upgraded from 'Inn' to 'Plaza' status, and became the newest in Orange County. Rates remain at the Inn level--a real bargain

2) Awarded the elite 'GOLD KEY' designation for quality recognition

3) Certified as 'TOUR GROUP FRIENDLY' by Ramada

4) Attained 3-Diamond AAA approval rating every year

5) Completed a $700,000 renovation of the entire hotel inside and out, now in like-new condition. We expanded American menu in our Spring Garden Restaurant to supplement authentic Japanese/Korean specialties and sushi bar. We also added a night club with full lounge and Karaoke stage/dance floor.

We greatly enhanced our in-room amenities to include 27' TV, iron/board, new bed sets; coffee/tea maker, hairdryer, shower massager, voice mail, data port, cable channels HBO/ESPN/CNN and pay-per-view

With all the dust, dirt, noise, congestion, and confusion going on around the Disneyland Park due to extensive construction lasting for some time, this hotel, which is only 5 miles away from the Park and the Convention Center, is absolutely a much better place to be if you drive. If you don't drive, we provide shuttle free of charge to Disneyland, California Adventure, and Convention Center. Hotel is only 4 miles from Crystal Cathedral, the Block at Orange, and only 8 miles from Knott's Berry Farm and popular beaches. There is unique multi-cultural access to little Saigon, Korea Town nearby, plus China Town, Little Tokyo, and Little Taipei in Los Angeles County.
