The Beach Terrace Inn is tucked against the sea in the heart of Carlsbad Village, boasting 30 restaurants from micro brewery to hand tossed pizza to fine dining, live music venues, dancing, twice weekly farmers markets, antique shops and boutique retail, all in a quaint seaside village setting. Two miles from Legoland and Sea Life Aquarium, The Carlsbad Flower Fields and great outlet shopping. Two blocks from the San Diego Coaster rail service to the Del Mar Racetrack or downtown San Diego's vibrant Gaslamp Quarter and Petco Ball Park. Thirty minutes to San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, Qualcomm Stadium and San Diego Wild Animal Park.

Outside of our private beach entrance, jog along miles of sandy beaches or, instead, enjoy the view at our oceanfront swimming pool. Golf at courses that host the Masters, take a limousine wine tasting tour, go deep sea fishing from the neighboring harbor. Rent a board and catch the waves or rent a bicycle and explore miles of flat trails. Take a stroll through scenic Batiquitos Lagoon Nature Preserve, or book yourself a day of pampering at one of the many local spas, including Carlsbad Mineral Spa founded in 1882. Day Trip to the Oceanside Art Museum, the splendid gardens of Encinitas Self Realization Temple or the Quail Botanical Gardens. Hotel Reservation Policies

The hotel charges a $1.00 per night city assessment fee. This fee is not included in your reservation total, and will be charged upon check-out from the hotel.

The Beach Terrace Inn is a non-smoking hotel.

Rates are based on single occupancy. There is a charge for each additional person, including children ages 2 and over. When selecting the number of persons in your party, please list all persons ages 2 and over as adults. If the correct number of persons ages 2 and over is not entered at the time of booking, the extra person fee will be billed upon arrival. Between the dates of September 16th and May 15th, the charge is $15 per person, per night. From May 16th to September 15th, the charge is $20 per person, per night.

Gregorio's Nestled in the Northern San Diego County beach town of Carlsbad is our Italia Pizzeria, we have been serving up great Italian food and pizzas for 20 years. Our neighborhood’s favorite patio accommodates large parties of any occasion or even an intimate party of two.
